Our Story

NapolEat was born from the passion of two friends from the stunning Sorrento coast who by-chance crossed paths in the heart of Cambridge. In November 2018, they launched their culinary journey with a food truck, serving up delicious paninis and panuozzi to the local community. As their love for authentic Italian street food grew, so did their ambition.

When the pandemic hit, they adapted, converting their food truck into a pizza van, complete with a traditional oven built in Napoli. It was during these challenging times that their renowned Neapolitan pizzas came to life, bringing a taste of Italy to Cambridge’s streets. The response was incredible, and after the lockdowns, the business thrived, enabling them to invest in a second pizza van.

By 2022, NapolEat had outgrown its mobile roots and found a permanent home at the Sorrento Hotel on Cherry Hinton Road. On 27th March, 2022, they opened the doors to their first restaurant, offering the same passion, flavours, and authenticity that had made their food truck a local favorite.

Today, NapolEat continues to serve up the rich culinary traditions of Naples, inviting you to experience the true flavours of Italy right here in Cambridge.
